Hi there! We did a considerable amount of testing and found that combining a submenu with a "sticky" navigation creates some pretty considerable user experience issues—particularly for smaller/mobile browsers.

For that reason we recommend using the "Side Menu" for secondary menu items or items that don't fit in the main navigation.
